Role: Director & 3D Artist
Task
Develop a speculative concept for a next-gen AI-assisted camera by Cheeze Robotics—designed to think, track, and adapt in real time. The goal was to visualize a high-end imaging device that merges robotics, machine vision, and intuitive human interaction into one seamless product experience.
Bonus: Visualize real-time AI features such as object tracking, dynamic framing, and environment mapping.
Extra bonus: Deliver looping animations that showcase the AI’s logic and presence through motion and interface overlays.
Process
The challenge was to design a product that feels like it belongs 10 years in the future—blending sleek industrial design with visible intelligence. The key was in combining hyper-real surface details with non-obtrusive UI indicators, holographic readouts, and AI feedback loops that felt believable and grounded in near-future tech.
Solution
Modeled a compact robotic camera housing with adaptive lens components, cooling systems, and sensor arrays.
Integrated dynamic holographic UI elements that change based on camera behavior: auto-subject detection, facial recognition, environmental depth mapping, and predictive motion cues.
Designed lighting and camera angles to highlight the "awareness" of the device—focusing on subtle servos, smooth stabilization shifts, and red/blue LED logic feedback.
The Cheeze Robotics AI Camera concept merges future-forward design with practical storytelling. It simulates an interface between human users and an intelligent imaging tool—positioning it as a vision system, not just a camera. The modular render system supports easy variations to test new UI states, body types, or behaviors.
